SERP RuleSearch, SEO and digital marketing announcements

Editorial policy

SERP Rule publishes press releases. Releases are written by the organizations that issue them, not by SERP Rule, and are published as issued apart from formatting.

Releases from wire services are labeled "Press Release" and name the wire they were originally issued through. Releases submitted to us for a fee are labeled "Sponsored", and links in them are marked as sponsored, so they pass no search ranking.

We do not publish: securities class-action solicitations from law firms, affiliate product reviews dressed up as news, releases in languages other than English, releases with no substantive news content, or duplicates of a release we already carry.

We only publish a release in the sections it belongs to. A release that fits none of our sections is not published.

Sponsored releases are reviewed before publication. We reject releases that make unsupported health or financial claims, impersonate another organization, or promote anything unlawful.

Corrections issued by the original organization replace or annotate the original release. See Corrections & removals.
